ΕΡΕΥΝΗΤΙΚΗ ΔΡΑΣΤΗΡΙΟΤΗΤΑ
Κλινικό & Ερευνητικό Ενδιαφέρον
Το κλινικό ενδιαφέρον εστιάζεται στις κλινικές εφαρμογές της PEΤ/CT στην ογκολογία, τη μελέτη του μυοκαρδίου με τη χρήση ραδιοϊσοτόπων και την εφαρμογή των καρκινικών δεικτών στην ογκολογία.
Το ερευνητικό ενδιαφέρον εστιάζεται (
Α) Στην PET/CT ειδικότερα στην διερεύνηση και βελτιστοποίηση της attenuation correction και της correction του Partial Volume Effect στην ΡΕΤ και SPECT χρησιμοποιώντας πειραματικά δεδομένα από ομοώματα (phantoms) για καλύτερη αξιοποίηση των δεδομένων της ΡΕΤ και στην ογκολογία, τη μελετη της στεφανιαίας νόσου και του εγκεφάλου (εγκεφαλικάς επεισόδια, άνοιες και κυκλοφορία εγκεφαλονωτιαίου υγρού)
(Β) Στην ανάπτυξη ανιχνευτικών διατάξεων υψηλής διακριτικής ικανότητας και ευαισθησίας για χρήση στην SPECT και PET,
(Γ) Στη μελέτη της αιμάτωσης και ενδοτικότητας του μυοκαρδίου.
